Biography

Areas of Interest

Erin completed her BA in Anthropology at Elon University in 2013, her MS in Medical Anthropology and Cross Cultural Practice at Boston University School of Medicine in 2016, and her MA in Anthropology at Brown University in 2018. She is a current PhD candidate in the Anthropology department at Brown. Her dissertation research examines the experiences of deaf immigrants in the Rhode Island area and focuses on issues of language, identity, and belonging.
