Ben Salinas is a 3rd year PhD student in the Anthropology Department where he focuses on the intersection of music, language, and identity. His research has looked into indigenous Hip Hop in Mexico and the U.S. Mexico borderlands. As a scholar and musician, he is interested in including music making and other multimedia projects into his methods.
