"Professor Rebecca Carter has an interesting outlook on Anthropology and its connection with visual practices and art. As an artist myself, I am interested in the field of Visual Anthropology. Working with Professor Carter will help me see how visual media can be used alongside ethnographic research. Visuality is extremely important for perceiving information, especially in the modern age. It is my hope to include ethnographic illustrations along with my future research."
