Spring 2023 Collaborative Humanities Courses with Paja Faudree and Daniel J. Smith

In 2023, two interdisciplinary courses selected by the Cogut Institute for its 2021 Collaborative Humanities Course Award will be taught in part by Paja Faudree (L) and Daniel J. Smith (R).

In 2023, two interdisciplinary courses selected by the Cogut Institute for its 2021 Collaborative Humanities Course Award will be taught in part by Paja Faudree (L) and Daniel J. Smith (R). 

Faudree will teach Indigenous Languages of the Americas: An Introduction with Scott AnderBois, Associate Professor of Cognitive, Linguistic and Psychological Sciences. Smith will teach Are We Really All in This Together? Culture, Structure, and Health Disparities with Abigail Harrison, Associate Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Research).

Collaborative humanities courses aim to pair one humanities faculty member and one faculty member from the social sciences, life sciences, physical sciences, biology and medicine, or public health, among other disciplines — and typically also include forms of group work or collaborative projects by student teams.
