Working in two different border regions, Dr. Jusionyte has become a leading contributor to political-legal anthropology. She is the author of Threshold: Emergency Responders on the U.S.-Mexico Border (2018), which won the Victor Turner Prize in Ethnographic Writing; and Savage Frontier: Making News and Security on the Argentine Border (2015).
